4/6/2024 0 Comments Monk hellfire![]() In the same way, there is no "speed bonus" for warriors on all weapons, it is just that the end frame for warriors with many weapon types is quite low. There should be no built in "of haste" as far as I can recall. This applies to all characters and weapon combinations, including the monk. What they do is, that each frame, the game will check for any of those affixes on items the character use and at certain frames, roll the counter up by an extra 1 or 2 (in effect makeing the attack reach the end frame quicker). Now, on top of that, characters can wear items that has affixes that reduces the attack time (like "of haste"). For a monk, the game simply sets a very low value for number of frames just as for weapos there is quite low values for the warrior (differ some depending on exact weapon type). When you then attack, a counter counts up from 0 and when you reach the final frame number, the attack is over. (It is actually a combination of a table and code that does it). What happens when you equip a a weapon is that the game will look at a table which for each character class and weapon combination has a listed number of frames an attack takes.
